We recently purchased woodblock prints and lithographs by artists such as Kaii Higashiyama in Chiba Prefecture. It seemed the owner had kept the works stored away ever since purchasing them, and there were several pieces that had never even been taken out of storage. Unfortunately, some of the works had developed stains or discoloration, but we did our best to offer a fair price. While prices for modern Japanese paintings in general have been declining, making this a rather challenging situation, artists like Kaii Higashiyama still remain quite popular.

At our shop, we buy and sell woodblock prints, lithographs, Japanese paintings, and a wide range of other antiques, including paintings. Please feel free to contact us for a consultation.
