目黒区にて和本、古書、明治時代の日本地図、レコードなどの買取をさせて頂きました。個人的には江戸絵画専門の画廊に勤めていた経験もあることから、一番扱っていて楽しいのは江戸時代のものだったりします。ここ数年は古書の専門業者の市場にも通い古書の世界にも幅を広げてきました。一般の本とは違った独特の文化と世界があり触れれば触れるほど面白い世界だなと感じますが、一方でこうした和本、古書の世界はまた特殊で専門性が高いです。売却、ご整理をする場合にはなかなかハードルが高いように思います。当店では経験を活かしてそうした古書、和本についても売却、整理についてのご相談、査定、買取を承っております。

We recently purchased Japanese-style books, rare books, Meiji-era Japanese maps, records, and other items in Meguro Ward. Personally, since I used to work at a gallery specializing in Edo-period paintings, I find dealing with Edo-period items the most enjoyable. Over the past few years, I’ve been frequenting markets run by antique book specialists and have broadened my horizons in the world of antique books. It’s a world with a unique culture and atmosphere distinct from ordinary books—one that becomes more fascinating the more I engage with it. At the same time, however, the world of traditional Japanese books and antique books is quite specialized and requires a high level of expertise.
